With the Rheinland bundle you get everything you need for working with firewood: a forged hatchet for precise work and a forged axe for powerful splitting. Both tools come from the traditional "Rheinland" family and impress with the classic German head shape that has been tried and tested for generations.

The forged hatchet is your handy all-round tool. Whether you are chopping up small pieces of wood, sharpening wood or preparing for an outdoor tour - this axe is easy to hold and is always ready for use.
The forged axe is the perfect partner when it comes to the nitty-gritty. With its impressive splitting power, you can effortlessly split medium-sized pieces of wood up to 20 cm in diameter and prepare firewood in no time.

The tool heads are forged exclusively from tested carbon steels (C60 or C45), ground extra sharp and coated with rust protection. We manufacture our tool handles from original US hickory or European ash. Both types of wood are explicitly specified by DIN for forestry tools. On all Axes & Hatchets, the handle end is finished with a special anti-slip coating. This means your tool always sits securely in your hand, whether with gloves or without.
